HOW TO GET TO SALENTO 🚌?

🚌 FROM PEREIRA TO SALENTO

From the Pereira Bus Terminal, you need to catch a direct bus to Salento operated by the Expreso Alcalá company. Buses depart roughly every hour starting at 6:30 AM. The ticket fare is approximately $9,000 COP (~2 USD) and the estimated travel time is 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending heavily on highway traffic.

Upon reaching the top of the climb, you will arrive at Finca La Montaña (a local environmental outpost), which commands an excellent view of the iconic Cerro Morro Gacho, an emblem of local pre-Columbian mythology.
